Contemporary Music
I have always taken a keen interest in undertaking performances of new works by living composers. Indeed I have showcased works by Martin Ellerby (Epitaph IV), Paul da Vinci and Buxton Orr at the Wigmore Hall and Charles Camilleri, Paul da Vinci & David Stoll (Concerto & Sonata) at prestigious venues including the South Bank, St James Piccadilly, St Martin's and St John's Smith Square. I have also undertaking recording projects of some of these works including by Paul da Vinci (see ICE on Fire recording featured in the website), David Stoll Sonata and Charles Camilleri (again featured in the website). Other premieres have included Gilbert Amy's Shin'anim Sha'ananim at the Barbican, London and Richard Roderick Jones Sea Dances at Tradeger House, Wales. Premiere recordings include works by Ronan Guilfoyle, Paul da Vinci, David Stoll, Charles Camilleri and most recently a recording of Howard Skempton's Suite from Delicate with the Birmingham Contemporary Music group.
